    They are very focused on the colleague experience, and on development within your role.


    If you are an ambitious person, they can sometimes make it difficult to progress further up the career ladder - they can seem more concerned with maintaining the correct statistics within the Division, than harnessing your personal potential to give you new challenges.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider that if you continue to suppress the progression of your more ambitious colleagues, they may lose morale, feeling that their efforts are going unrewarded. This may mean that you eventually lose them entirely to another division or even another company, just so that you can keep your number of each role type consistently diverse.
