Jobs in Redmond/Bellevue are great; awesome opportunities. Stay away from Bay Area MSFT.

I have been working at Microsoft full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Super smart people, driven, and big thinkers. When you're in Redmond where I spent over 10 years, you have great opportunity, collaboration, and camaraderie.

    Cons

If you are in a Bay Area Team, everything depends on Redmond from big decisions, to components you depend on. It's difficult and not rewarding to be so tied to redmond and not have the autonomy to innovate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unify the Bay Area team into one big team and empower them to move fast like the rest of hte valley and deliver huge customer value.
