I worked at Multimedia Games full-time (more than an year)Pros
Salary/Hourly wage is better than average.
Plenty of culture and 'fun' events at work.
My immediate director cares about his employees.
Ability to get recognized for hard work. Mostly.Cons
Was terminated for something I didn't even do in order for Multimedia Games to dodge the possibility of a lawsuit. When evidence was presented clearing me, was still let go. It seemed Multimedia Games wanted to wash their hands of me as soon as possible and values CYA over keeping and protecting valued employees.
Headquarters is located in the worst possible area of Austin. Seriously. It does not get worse than smack dab in the middle of 360. Will not miss making that horrific commute.
HR disciplinary procedure is a joke. Despite going above and beyond for the company and having an exemplary rapport with users and co-workers, I was fast tracked out the door for something I didn't even do.
Possibility of a lawsuit > You. Company won't defend you/fight for you. No job security.
Multimedia Games can afford to give away hundreds of thousands in Tournevent cash but haven't given a bonus in almost a year? Sickening.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Enforce your HR procedures. Have a backbone. I would still have the job that I enjoyed if there was a proper investigation conducted.
Oh, and enjoy the 360 traffic!! :)Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookApproves of CEO
