I have been working at Muscular Dystrophy Association

This organization is doing great things for families who are affected by Muscular Dystrophy. Specifically the tangible support services and free clinics and even medical equipment that they provide. Great new leadership, alot is changing but, it will take some time.

The organization does not pay a salary that is equivalent to other organizations. It is significantly lower than it should be. In addition, the organization is a little behind on the times and it will take a good 3-5 years of re-building to properly teach staff how to manage funds with a strategy that works.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management needs to be more communicative and candid with staff. There is a great culture and lots of work life balance but, the compensation needs to improve and the respect for people as individuals needs improvement.
