    Pros

Big company benefits like all the other prime contractors. Nothing special. Work environment is ok Most people are nice and in good spirits, ready to help. It is a busy work environment.

    Cons

Middle to upper management is very weak; lacking individuals with the depth and breath experience and the education for middle mgmt level positions. Employees who have the depth and breath, education and practical knowledge are ignored for the most part. Because of this the quality work environment is declining and robbing experienced workers the opportunity to learn grow and move up. There are a lot individuals with horrendous management skills which destroy moral and team work. Most that are promoted do not have what's required to successfully be in those positions; young and inexperienced. Position descriptions change according to who they want in those positions. This seems to be generating a huge hole in middle/ upper management. Certain employees are preselected for promotions before any positions are posted. it creates frustration. Very unfair hiring and promoting practices not all qualified candidates get interviewed due to a great deal of favoritism. There are no mentoring programs for the experienced who have worked all their lives and got all the experience just to be fairly considered for these positions and end up being ignored.. Upper management preaches the ability to grow and move up and that they want to retain the experienced. They don't practice what they preach. Very disheartening for those who hope to move up.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing these games and start giving everyone a fair and equal chance to be considered for advancement. Favoritism is not an attribute.and should never play a part in advancement. it is a pathetic practice, because the experienced are leaving. Start caring about the employees again.
