    Pros

    - Values technical competence and knowledge
    - Has established processes
    - Staff displays willingness to share advice and assistance
    - At one time, greatly valued professional development programs (internal courses and education reimbursement)

    Cons

    - Limited upward mobility for insiders...appears one has to leave, then return to move up in the ranks
    - Benefits were being slashed, especially for new hires

    Advice to Management

    - Stop Inconsistent/Mixed Messaging: Company spent funds on advertising campaign to promote "cyber" focus, while the company was cutting education benefits.

    - Consider insiders for senior position. Talent does exist inside company already...the great ones have to leave for increased roles.
