I worked at Qualys full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Solid product and a great business model. Most co-workers are friendly and down to earth people.

    Cons

Management structure is dysfunctional at best. The CEO likes to call all of the shots and often times has his hands in too many departments. He also has a reputation of being hard to work with. Hence the reason why management turnover has been so rampant over the years.

Be careful of the sparkling reviews you see here. Managers would often times roam the office asking people to write positive reviews. If you declined, you were looked down upon.

Lack of employee appreciation or respect for accomplishments. Management as a whole looks at their employees as disposable and puts zero effort into trying to retain or engage them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop firing and hiring your managers on a whim's notice.

Stop putting your family in management positions. A lot of them are inept.

Take better care of your employees. Would it kill you to fill your break rooms with food or snacks.

    Disapproves of CEO
