I worked at Red Lobster part-time (more than 5 years)

you'll grow to love everyone you work with. if it was not about the money, i would have worked there forever just for those people

the location: right smack dab in the middle of the haves and the have nots, both in money and sensibilities. You could run your butt off and will get nothing more than five dollars from MANY GUESTS. there is no gratuity anymore, so you could be on a large party for hours and walk out with nothing, or bank, but the latter is not common. its a hit or miss in this place. There tends to be a sense of disorganization when things get busy. It could be better, and the managers work hard but there seems to be a dark cloud over that place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

i dont even know where to start. Tell the regional manager to stop swooping around like an eagle all the time, to stop speaking to his employees like they're stupid at times.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
