I worked at Remington College full-time (more than an year)

The only good thing was my immediate supervisor. She tried to shield us from the abuse from corporate. She made work somewhat enjoyable, so I can say that someone above her made a good hiring decision.

Inept leadership lacking in foresight and tact. Everyone is afraid of the tyrannical CEO. His words are gold and no one challenges him. I heard him yell on conference calls and he generally made the place miserable while claiming to care about the students. He had a private jet. What the .??? His direct reports were mindless minions. The teachers should be paid more as many work crazy split shifts all week long. No opportunities to advance. Admissions people are basically trained monkeys. The environment is stifling. Outdated systems and processes since everything has to be approved by "corporate"...which means nothing ever gets done. Most employees were on anti-depressants to deal with the dysfunctional environment. Raises were rarely given and we were told we should be happy to have a job. It was a really bad time in my life and I am still traumatized by the experience. If you care about student success, look elsewhere!
