    I have been working at Ritz-Carlton as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    - Opportunity to Grow with company
    - Excellent Training/Orientation
    -Great Benefits/Competitive Compensation
    -Lots of Employee Incentive Programs
    -Felt very welcome from the first day to the last

    Cons

    -Difficulty with communication between departments
    -Long hours (part of hospitality business)
    -Very Physically Demanding
    -Did not provide housing for interns

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Work on inter-department communication. It can be stressful during busy times if departments keep trying to put their responsibilities on other departments. Create clear, distinct responsibilities and duties and make sure managers enforce the rules. This will eliminate a lot of stress.
