Fun, fast pace, and educational. Programs implemented were designed to be easy to learn and increase productivity.
Management spent entirely to much time focusing on following programs to the line. No room to be human. Fear of legal complications tied the hands of those who wanted to do the correct thing.
Advice to Management
Let your employees run the stores that they in charge of. If you are going to implement protocol it needs to be the same across the board. In the 7.5 years that I worked for your company we went through 5 store managers, 6 assistant managers, 4 district managers, and 5 district loss prevention managers. All with different views and policies. My store was kept in an utter state of confusion, programs were interpreted differently depending on who you were talking to, and no manager, including the Area Supervisors were on the same page.
