    I worked at SCC full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    I genuinely can't think of anything.

    Cons

    I was employed to 'bring my experiences of over 25 years in the IT industry to SCC'.... I found very little desire from within the organisation to consider new ideas of a different way of doing things.
    My experience was that when I was told to do something, I was expected to do it, without question. On one occasion, when I offered my line manager a different perspective, she told 'not to challenge' her.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Trust your employees. Give them the flexibility and the ability to do the job they are paid to do.
    Consider the next generation of Senior management and board members. Carry on with the same board, and doing things the same way they've always been done, then you'll always get what you've always got !
    Embrace change. Embrace new ideas. Empower your employees. Allow them to flourish and watch the business grow.
