    Pros

    Intelligent co-workers, great benefits, exciting when the parent company is doing well. Chance to work at one of the world's top tech companies and make an impact.

    Cons

    When earnings are down they get very strict with cost-cutting measures, many of which seem more symbolic in nature than anything else and can be quite illogical / disruptive to productivity. Headquarters is located in Korea, and can be overbearing and micro-managing with US locations -- making it feel as though there is a lack of trust. USA is the global innovation leader, you need to trust your Americans more.

    Advice to Management

    Petition our stakeholders in Korea to allow for greater freedom and creativity in R & D efforts to avoid letting your engineers fall into a pattern of becoming merely supporting actors on HQ's production efforts, rather than researchers exploring truly innovative projects.
