I have been working at Sony

    Pros

It is somewhat fulfilling to see what you work on making the news when it gets launched. That is, if it actually *ever* gets launched.

    Cons

The constant shifting of company and division directions. The next re-organization always sounds a lot better than the previous, but more or less just a reshuffling of titles amongst the same management team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I recommend looking in towards your personnel and promote people instead of looking outside of the company. There are some very qualified individuals that have always been looked over and passed up for promotions.

Career development is virtually non-existent in my division. If you are doing a good job in your current position, management will just keep you there forever. Because hey, you're doing a good job at what you do, right?
