I have been working at StubHub full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

office is downtown, most individual contributors are great to work with

    Cons

The company has very few true ux employees left. Over the past year they have focused on hiring visual designers and slapping a ux title on them. This makes sense, though, since there is no leadership within the product team that truly understands ux design. I've observed "leaders" in the ux team partake in selfish acts to move themselves forward - not in the best interest of the team or even the product. I truly feel sorry for what is left of that team and whoever comes in to replace those who leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

New UX leadership is needed (yes, again). The organization needs to stop playing the politics game which is hiring from within ebay. To stop the cycle you need to bring in truly fresh people or the cycle will not end.
