I have been working at Subsea 7 full-time (more than 5 years)

Job security. Not much else to add. Just waiting until a new job comes up. Since the merger (=take over) things have been going downhill compared to the situation with Acergy.
Positive thing could be career opportunity because so many people are leaving or on the lookout for some other job. Just hang on and you will rocket up.

Management is doing all they can to demotivate the offshore crew by withholding tax from salaries and not paying out any overtime. Even when overtime has been through the approval process, it still doesn't get paid out. Management is losing credibility and trust. Company has grown out of proportions and has become very bureaucratic. Crew has to be extremely flexible to suit the project but never gets any reward in return. Unfair treatment of crew, your salary depends on the location your vessel is in due to tax withholding. No answer from HR or tax department when asked to rectify/verify. I could go on and on...
I certainly don't recommend working for this company to anyone.
