I worked at Supplemental Health Care as a contractor (less than a year)

Fast steady employment as a clinical nurse when needed and gives you the necessary income and time to find what you would like to do next. Often times you can get hired on by the place where you have been assigned after the end of the contract.

Contracted nursing position for 13 week assignments. When contract is over you move on to another location. Their health insurance in 2012 was costly for a family and had a high deductible. You are locked in for the length of the contract and if you break the contract for another job you can loose a substantial amount of the per deim compensation. Job locations are often times out of town and require overnight hotel stays.

Longer term assignments would be better.
