I worked at Target part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I had friendly coworkers and all of my bosses (ETLs/TLs) were nice to me. Starting pay was a dollar over minimum which was nice. At the time, that was $9.00 in my area.

    Cons

Not too flexible. Little chance for much real advancement and small raises. It felt very corporate and there were a million rules because they had been sued over so many small things in the past. Zoning the same shelves every night at closing can get tiring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management could do more to make you feel valuable. Target has a very high tunover rate. You just feel like a small cog working there.
