    I worked at The Home Depot full-time (more than 3 years)


    Developed a lot of great relationships with a lot of great people. You learn a lot. Good retail experience, if that's what you're looking for.


    Favoritism. Managers clearly have favorite associates and supervisors who get away with anything. Rules and regulations upheld for some and not others. There is a TON of brown-nosing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't give false hope for advancement. Stop micromanaging. Hold the same standards for all of your employees. Run your business the way it should be at all times, that way when the District Manager or the like come to walk your store, you don't drive your associates and supervisors D's into the dirt.
