I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (more than 3 years)

The company is stable, will be here for a long time, not going out of business

You will have a job as long as you do what is asked, the expectations are very unrealistic, very high turnover, never enough help on the floor. You can run up the corp. ladder fast if you will sell your soul and forget about any life work balance. Once a week you are asked to close the store (walk out at 11pm) and be back to open at 5 am, most will just sleep in the car.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Those that make the decisions do not work in the store or have not visited a store for years. The management of the store only do what they are asked, they don't decide anything, this is a monkey see monkey do organization.
