I worked at US Air Force full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Being a part of protecting the United States; a fulfilling sense of service! Training is probably the best in the world. Excellent pay and benefits, especially for the officer and senior enlisted ranks.

    Cons

Subject to the whims of Congress. Sequestration is significantly hurting the military and this country's national defense. Frequent moves can be challenging yet with the right attitude this is a positive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hold true to benefits of those who served. If you need to change, change for those entering the military.
