    Pros

I'm halfway through a 12-week internship, and it has been one of the most positive employment experiences of my life. Everyone has been very helpful in bringing me up to speed and teaching me the things I need to know for success. There's a very collaborative atmosphere, and I have had no problems reaching out to people in multiple departments who are willing to share their time. Pay is very generous for a student internship, and of course flight benefits are something that few employers can offer. Expectations are made very clear, and I have been given more than ample support in reaching my goals. They are also very respectful of employee needs and concerns from everything I've seen.

    Cons

There are the same organizational issues with any large corporation -- IT delays and such. It seems at times that intern work assignments are not as well planned as I would hope, which has led to occasional down time.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, for the most part. This is a time of unprecedented prosperity in the airline business, but don't fall into the temptation to overspend that comes with this success.
