    Current Intern - Intern

I have been working at United Airlines as an intern (Less than a year)

The people are great- the culture at United fosters great relationships and everyone is always willing to help you learn and talk you through any questions. The people make this place a great place to work

The airline industry is very different than school. Much of the technical data is never taught in school, but this is probably the nature of the job. The great thing is that the people are there to help you every step of the way, just be ready to learn and not afraid to ask questions. I was suprised how much techincal writting I was doing.

    Advice to Management

As an intern, coming in to a specific field is hard because there is tons of information, language and technical data you don't know. Before starting the job, some training material and/or information of the scope of our team and material we will be working with would be a great help for the short time we are employed
