    Pros

    Good coworkers
Good vacation and sick days off

    Cons

Upper management has no idea how to run their department or manage employees.
Managers, VP's and Directors lack people skills..
    A LOT of corporate politics.
Upper management will lie to your face.
Management will make promises but nothing will ever follow through. They will lie to you to buy more time so they don't have to follow through on the promise.
Work from home policy is a company wide policy but it all depends on your manager if they will allow it. It varies from person to person.
Managers and VP's will NOT promote from within the company even if you have 5, 10 or 15 years of experience. They prefer to hire their relative, friend or a previous coworker from their old jobs to fill new positions.
Many old employees who have been with the company for 15, 20 or 30 years refuse to except change and have been in the same position all their life. They refuse to leave even if they have been demoted..
HR department is a joke. It is very difficult to get hold of someone in HR to answer your questions or address concerns. it takes days if not weeks to get a face -to-face meeting with someone in HR.
Don't expect an orientation when you are hired. You'll meet someone from HR that you've never heard of and they will give you a very ugly mug, have you sign a few pieces documents and off you go. You'll be lucky if someone from your department will meet you and bring you to your department.
Lack of communication within various departments.
This industry is declining and they have no solid future plan on how to survive.
if you suggest changes the upper management is willing to listen but that's where it stops. Nothing ever gets done.
No sense of belonging to a department. Everyone does their own thing.
There aren't any perks such as Christmas party or summer picnic. This depends on your manager whether they want to have a party or not.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Promote from within the company.
    Stop favoritism with employees.
Hire good managers and VP's based on experience and not based on your relationship with the person.
Take action against manager, VP's and Directors if constant complaints are made against them.
    Create a corporate culture.
Hire young and talented people with experience.
