Great people to work with, but administration can be lost at times.

I have been working at University of Minnesota as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a supportive community of faculty to help with anything.

    Cons

Administration does little to tell you how you are doing. They are primarily concerned with the budget, not their faculty. Now this can be good when you want to be left on your own, but at times it would be nice to know if you have job security or not.
