I have been working at Yahoo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

good people, great focus... lots of perks and career opportunities. Work life balance depending on your role and responsibilities but a strong effort is made to find balance accordingly.

    Cons

shifting priorities and the quarterly review process -as last implemented- were distracting and at times frustrating, regardless of performance. Even when performing with high ratings, the constant need to deliver quarterly reviews eats up a good 1/3rd of every quarter.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

focus on your larger goals, keep the communication levels high, and talk to your customers... lots and lots of them.
