    Pros

Discount was good. They made the job sound really fun at the interview. There has to be at least 20 words in this section but I don't really have any positives.

    Cons

DM was a nightmare, staff was caddy and immature. That's what you get when they only want you hiring 16-17 year olds only. I'd get a great candidate but had to turn them away because they were 20. Floor sets every two weeks but since my staff was mainly minors, there were MANY nights I'd be there by myself till 2-4 in the morning finishing since they had a cerfew. Horrible work-life balance.

    Advice to Management

Your clothing is not geared toward 17-25 year olds so stop trying. Aero isn't "cool" with anyone past 8th grade. Embrace the tweens and you'll make a killing! Hire more mature associates and you'll see better results.

    Pros

    Friendly coworkers, discount on clothes.

    Cons

Most new employees BARELY got any hours. Only the managers and assistant managers get to work full time/part-time. Call-in shifts are the worst! You have to delay your plans just to call two hours ahead of time only to find out they most likely won't need you. I think they do the call-in shifts just to give the ILLUSION to new employees that they weren't scammed. The truth is, no matter how hard you work they will only use you for a specific amount of time and then drop you just like that.

    Advice to Management

Unless you want your reputation to go further down the drain, don't make promises you can't keep. When you are through with your employees, have some respect and email or call them to let them know. Gossiping doesn't make you look good either.

    Pros

Availability is flexible if you're just a sales associate

    Cons

    No work life balance
They "promote" you but you do not get a salary change even though you do 10x the work

    Pros

There isn't any pros about this job.

    Cons

There are a lot of cons. Managers can speak to you however they want to. I worked there 2 years and never got a raise and I was one of the favorites. Barely work. Managers talk bad about other employees. One time my manager stapled my finger and then blamed me and got mad at me... The same manager called me stupid. The hotline means nothing. Oh and they're clothes fall apart after like 5 times of wearing it.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your associates. You see what you want. Managers are different when their bosses are around

    Pros

The work environment is fun and you can wear whatever you want.

    Cons

As a sales lead, you hold keys to the store. You are a manager in charge of hiring and training as well as working long hours. You have many responsibilities.... and they pay you 8-9 dollars an hour, so next to nothing.

    Advice to Management

I would consider paying your sales leads more. They barely get paid more than regular associates but are expected to do substantially more.

    Pros

Pretty much just the discount if you like the clothes they have. I only bought Camis and socks, but it was a good price.

    Cons

Working weekends, working 40-70 hours per week, unsupportive upper management, dealing with shoplifters and getting threatened by them. They are not doing well financially. Recently their stock was lower than when the first incorporated. They laid off hundreds at corporate level and are doing no 401k matching or raises, merit or otherwise.
