    Pros

    Lot's of resources to sell. Good benefits. Energetic staff. The company maintains a commitment to train their employees. Very politically Progressive culture.

    Cons

    Lots of esprit d'corp within departments, but lots of animus towards other departments. At times its an us vs. them attitude, despite the fact that they all work for the same team. Lots of politics and protecting one's turf.

    Top management should convey consideration toward subordinates

    I learned a lot about the TV industry considering I was coming from the advertising world

    Cons

    Way too may freelance, temp and contract workers in positions of influence.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Actually hire some of the temp/contract workers instead of stringing them along for years with a hope of employment.

    I worked at A&E Networks as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

    Very low stress wonderful co -workers. Easy to get job done if you are willing to work hard. I loved it

    Cons

    They do not hire permanent workers. 99% of the staff is long term temp. They let the temps go after a year or so and then bring back former employees they had fired years prior.

    come on, operate with a heart. You are messing with people's lives

    Learned a lot from skilled executives. Enjoy most of my co- workers.

    The company does not convert from consultant to staff hardly ever. Some upper management does not keep up with developments in their field of expertise.
