Current Employee – been working at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Insurance Exchange full-time for less than a year
Pros – It's just overall a great place to work. I've been here 6 months and can't say enough good things about the Insurance Exchange - definitely drinking the kool-aid. I won't say they are perfect, no company or person is, but they care A LOT and from what I can see, are doing everything they can to continue to make this an even better place to work. Everyone is open to feedback and they take their jobs very seriously.
Cons – You have to be an employee for 90 days before you can take advantage of the insurance offerings.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Insurance Exchange
Pros – A very team oriented set of employees, from senior management to the little guy, they take everything with the utmost of care and attention.
Cons – Working with any set of people, there are the obvious bad consequences that come with team dynamics. Not everyone will always get along and it is tricky in any workplace to find a balance between the ego and the objective side of any issue.
Advice to Senior Management – They are doing the best they can. They really do listen and take the effort to fix things.

Current Employee – been working at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Insurance Exchange
Pros – Excellent benefits especially their 401K and pension plan. Where I worked, we worked as a team and we were like a family. My supervisor and my manager were great. They were very supportive of what we were going through - reorgs, down-sizing and finally lay offs.
Cons – Antiquated systems, they launched a new system which caused more troubles to the field and affected customers' premium. So may lay-offs.
Advice to Senior Management – They need to assess the needs of the people who are dealing with customers, give them the tools that work properly.

Current Employee – been working at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Insurance Exchange
Pros – An open environment where it's say to say what you think; the ability to move up in the organization if you're motivated; managers who treat their employees with respect; a company that treats its employees with dignity and respect; the ability to work for an organization (AAA) that people love and that helps its members (roadside assistance, insurance, travel, discounts)
Cons – I strongly disagree with many who have posted extremeley negative reviews on this site of CSAA. 2008 was a difficult year to be sure, but it was difficult for a lot of companies. AAA is a great company and I'm proud to be an employee, despite technology issues that are being addressed.
Advice to Senior Management – Trust your employees.
