I have been working at ABM Industries full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits overall. And most of the non-management people are good people. Just working hard like everybody else.

    Cons

Upper management doesn't do a good job of communicating with employees or their customers. Company doesn't want to spend money where it's needed. Always looking for the cheap way out. Pay scale is LOW. Don't expect to be happy here if you're looking for $$$

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better with your customers and take better care of your employees and maybe you'll keep more good workers and stop losing accounts.

    Pros

The type of job you do they offer ok benefits

    Cons

You have to join the union (Teamsters911) and pay union dues every month for no reason because the union doesn't help the employees when they in need, the pay is cheap for what you do and put up with, management sucks and they power trip all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clean management cause they are the problem, pay more attention to what employees have to say.

Poor pay compare to market. Overtime is expected.
