    Pros

A Good place for a new sales rep to learn and train in the sales process. Good training hard work.

    Cons

Constant, relentless pressure causes burnout and frustration among sales reps.
A lot of red tape/politics to go through to get something accomplished

    Advice to Management

Work with the sales reps to find out what they need - then try to support them more often. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion to upper management about what is going on in the sales team.

    Pros

Working at ADP was at times both rewarding, yet difficult. Coming from a non payroll background, I found this job at times hard as I wasn't familiar with things like payroll taxes and payroll dections, as well as IRS requirements, which were things that were s must to do the job. However, there were often many ceremonies to celebrate employees for all the hard work they put in.

    Cons

As far as the negatives, it was not nearly enough training that was provided. The training we got was very rushed and not thoroughly explained, and at times I felt like I was in a math class given all the numbers we had to remember. There's also a mandatory test that has to be taken and passed.

    Advice to Management

Train employees better. As for that mandatory test that is needed to pass, train for it instead of just throwing everyone into it without having any knowledge of what is to be expected. Also, there's not enough promotional growth here, develop employees more and provide them with more opportunities at the Georgia location.

    Pros

The Benefits are good the Pay is not fantastic the people are wonderful. All in all a good place to start a career. I would recommend this place. Great work life balance.

    Cons

Office is out of the way. Few regular days off. Pay is biweekly, culture is old and stodgy. The company seems very stuck in its ways and afraid of new ideas. The office politics can be difficult to navigate for a newbie.

    Pros

    Decent benefits
    Ability to work remotely
    Good coworkers

    Cons

    Limited advancement.
Lack of training prior to rolling out products to clients
    Call center mentality
Constant changes with lack of direction

    Advice to Management

Actually care about the associates. Management give this facade of caring for them but all they care is in making the shareholders happy. This is reflected in lower employee satisfaction rate year after year.

    Pros

They give you all the tools you need to succeed. Its up to you to take it, learn and grow.

    Cons

It is a big corporation. If you do not come up to speed fast you'll be put on a performance plan. If you do not hit your plan goals you'll be asked to leave.

    Advice to Management

Be more personable. People drive companies. Ideas matter.

    Pros

Wonderful health care benefits and educational opportunities.

    Cons

Training materials non existent, no management structure in place, routine turnover of management and processors due to lack of documentation. Policy & Procedures not followed. Processors overworked, very long hours. Hi stress, no relief in sight. Jobs that should be allocated to Team Leads placed on the shoulders of the processors.

    Advice to Management

Devote more time to employees and less to meetings. Stop internal gossip by managers and team leads about processors, each other and upper management. I stress to support employees, help them over obstacles as this is cheaper and makes better use of your resources, Help employees succeed, Put less emphasis on the test when the documentation that should be there to support the questions often does not exists. .
