    Pros

Aldi is a great company to work for because of the pay and benefits, especially as a manager.

    Cons

Some of the challenges are the physicality of the job and the productivity goal the are required to run the store.

    Pros

This company is amazing and efficient. I came from another company, different industry and Im pleased with the change. The Pay is amazing, the benefits are above all. I want to remind people that say they don't gets breaks and have to come in on their days off, do not equate that to Aldi but your SM or AM and bring it back to the store level. Ive always gotten my breaks, maybe not when I wanted them, but definitely got them. This is not a easy job at all, you work very hard for your money, but the time goes by sooooo fast, before you know it it's time to go home.

    Cons

Being promoted from SM to DM, or transfers to different States.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

So far so good, No job or company is perfect but so far this company meets all my needs. Upper Management has a open door policy and if you have any concerns you can go all the way up to the top.

    Pros

The pay for a starting cashier is good and as long as you're willing to work hard, it's a good place to work. There's usually always something to do to keep you busy, which helps the day go by quickly.

    Cons

Hours are inconsistent. Some weeks I worked over 40 hours, other weeks I was only scheduled for 20 hours (as a full-time cashier). As a result, it can be hard to create a budget for your life without knowing how many hours you'll work from week to week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't overhire in preparation for holidays; this happened at my location and all of us full-time cashiers got 20 hours or less a week as a result. This really caused a drop in store morale.

    Pros

Starting pay. Management enthusiasm. Store-wide attitude of earning your keep. Efficient. Schedule flexibility.

    Cons

Typical grocery store labor: dull. Busy doesn't necessarily mean engaged.

Pace is demanding. That's not a knock; it's a standard. Just be prepared.

To many staff turnover, - Now can't be bothered to learn agency staff names as they go through too many.
