I worked at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good employees working on the floor. Unfortunately they are not valued by management. I have no other pros to add which is sad.

    Cons

Mediocrity promoted while performers are punished, too much politics, people in the wrong roles, decision making power is held hostage by executive management which is robbing talented employees from their pride of workmanship and resulting in alot of bad decisions.

    Advice to Management

Remove toxic managers and there are alot. You know who they are. Let the people run the company because you are all beyond your capabilities. Of course you have failed to become aware of that so it is probably too late.

  3. The perfect storm

    Pros

Great people. Good team work. Lots of opportunities to learn.

    Cons

Management has asked over the years that employees ride out the storm. Profitability will return, just need the next great product. Problem is they keep making the same mistakes and fall behind and once again late to market. Cancelling another failed program. At this point management scrambles to ensure the golden parachutes can be paid out. Using layoffs as cost savings. They have now created the perfect storm, there's no riding out this one.

    Advice to Management

If you say your returning to start up capacity you need to be honest with yourself. No start up has a management team this large. Stop promoting your buddies and filling your pockets. Too many big salaries and no one is producing a business plan to make this company survive.

I worked at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people and environment with the ability to have some flex time if needed. Use to have opportunity for growth but not some much anymore.

    Cons

Management team struggling to get the company in a profitable state. Management team does not know how to turn the company around and at this point in the history of the company, there's a good chance they will go out of business. People are now leaving in droves.

    Advice to Management

Find a bail out plan quick!

I worked at ANADIGICS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay was okay and challenging work environment. Can't think of any other pros. Good location with a ping pong table.

    Cons

Very little room for growth. Constantly laying off people. Too many incompetent senior personnel that are lacking in adequate experience.

    Advice to Management

    Be more efficient.

  7. Anadigics can never expect things to change and for the company to be truly competitive if they don't change.

    Pros

    The compensation is pretty competitive

    Cons

Management is terrible. There is a lot of favoritism, which is not based on job performance. They are constantly changing CEO's looking for a different result but things stay the same. It is like groundhog day.

    Advice to Management

If you want things to change you have to be willing to take risks.

  8. Disappointing to work in an environment which lacks good leaders.

    Pros

Competitive salary and decent benefits (only when times were good!), less stressful work environment. Helpful and good people to work with.

    Cons

Lacking good leaders, no clear direction by management, no structure, no defined processes, lack of pro-activeness, decisions made without data.

    Pros

Financial Compensation, relocation Package, diverse work force (met a lot of interesting people from different countries)

    Cons

Too many silos, lack of trust between departments, "inner circle" people very difficult to interact with. They are allowed to rule the roost and do whatever they want with no consequences. The fab is old fashioned and there is a lot of manual activity. Needs to be upgraded and fitted with more automation. Poor production methods and less focus on quality. Fab engineers "unionized" against management.

    Advice to Management

Build consensus and team spirit within the company. Do not allow a few individuals to wield too much power. Stabilize middle and senior management instead of making "walking managers out" a fashion! Bring HR managers who actually understand technology.

    Pros

Good and industrial leading product lines

    Cons

Minimal or no differientiation between good and poor performanced employees

    Advice to Management

    Provide fair assessment on performances
