I have been working at ANSYS full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Awesome culture, market dominance, brilliant staff, attentive and helpful management, generous compensation.

    Cons

Training program is willy-nilly. CRM is temperamental.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Toss more dollars into designing a training program that is repeatable. Invest in a new CRM. An automated system of pairing up salespeople with applications engineers would streamline the appointment process. Other than that I really love the way that this company has grown and hope things continue on the current path.

I have been working at ANSYS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1. Closely knit family of employees. Friendly and relaxing, yet not so laid back work culture. Well-balanced and excellent facilities. Get to build a high-tech network of people for a lifetime.
    2. You get to work with the smartest researchers and developers. Work-life balance is given importance here.
    3. Excellent software product with focus on customer.

    Cons

    1. Low turnover of employees cause lack of growth. Most employees never leave the company once they enter ANSYS. This could be due to lack of enough competitors for career transition.
    2. Management is not good enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve communication and transparency across different teams for better software integration and product. Focus on employee career.
