I have been working at ARAMARK full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with. Work environment is positive. Good benefits, weekends and holidays off and competitive pay. Great motivation for employees to work hard for incentives and bonuses. Great experience to learn with opportunity to move forward within the company

    Cons

Lack of technological advancements, older employees seem to be set in their ways with no openness to change. Management communication can improve to set expectations for employees to understand how to better perform the job and fulfill responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Improve management communication, consistent feedback and ways to improve.

    Pros

Beautiful views and during the summer plenty of hours and fairly flexible schedule. Most of the employees interact as if we are all one great big family and stay in contact beond just working together

    Cons

My biggest problem is dealin with the altitude it can be bothersme and a. It difficult to acclimate to. As with all companies they have their ups and downs but I wish the management took the role of their EMTs more seriously instead of just employees that cost the company money.

    Advice to Management

If it was your mom, dad, son, daughter and they were in need of medical attention how would you want them to be treated? EMTs could play such a vital role in bringing new customers and receiving revisits from people who are a bit unsure about their safety and the summit of a 14er

    Pros

Work the schedule you want to work. Supervisors are usually there for you when you need them to be and the managers will Listen to anything you have to say, whether you just need to say something to feel better or if an issue needs addressing. Drug tests are not required without suspicion.

    Cons

Employees are mostly college students or picked up off the street (with exceptions). Wages are low with small yearly raises. While managers will listen, very rarely does anything that gets addressed actually gets done. Don't expect recognition or appreciation; it's nonexistent.

    Advice to Management

If someone calls out every day for a month, they probably don't need to be scheduled.

There was great teamwork. It seemed that the managers really cared about their employees. Opportunities to move up or branch off in the company. Was able to get the days off that we're asked for. Good work/ life balance.

    Cons

With Aramark at schools, they had girls work the night shift till midnight and would recommended to have a male always work for safety reasons.
