I have learned a lot about this fast paced industry and the specific challenges it faces.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSatisfying teamwork, great products and service.

ConsHigh turnover in lower level positions and no succession plans for middle and upper management has stagnated profit growth. Our approach and outlook toward the future has gone from long term to the very short term. Retention of unprofitable business for cash flow is worrisome.

Advice to Senior ManagementUphold and support our Core Values.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Good part-time job, easy, and paid well.

Vending Attendant (Current Employee) Napoleon, OH

ProsPaid well (because I worked in a factory that had a union which also took a lot of money because of union dues and initiation fees) , flexible hours (because of manager not company)

ConsFactory workers were picky and displeased with the function of the machines and they expected me to be able to fix it but I was not trained for that. Most of my cons are for the factory I worked at, not AVI.

ConsPay is minimal and usually not equal to the hard work involved.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay employees more and they will work more diligently.

Personally was just ok. However I would not work for this company again.

Vending Attendant (Former Employee) Toledo, OH

ProsPay was decent, benefits good, other co-workers was pleasure to work with.

ConsUpper management was over worked by owner of company. Owner didnt seem to care that people working for them had lives, family etc...could not believe some things I heard from branch managers and regional mangers on how they were treated at times by owner.

Advice to Senior ManagementOwner need to appreciate the people that work for them and be more respectful. People don't work for you 24/7 365 days a year...
