ConsI have to work very hard. Is that a negative?

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease don't change anything!

    An enjoyable professional experience

Financial Representative Intern (Current Employee) Rochester, NY

ProsAlthough I am an intern at AXA Advisors, many of the full time emplyees have reached out to me and offered their help or guidance. The work environment is very relaxed but you know that everyone there is a team and works as hard as they can.

ConsSome of the training is too laid back. I would prefer a more regimented program especially because everyone attending is new.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to reach out to young employees and make training more regimented.

Interesting beginning showed what didn't want with a company.

    ProsFriendly people, relatively good products

ConsVery little actual training. Overburdened division managers. No actual CRM help until on contract.

Not easy but very comprehensive training

Financial Professional (Current Employee) Pittsburgh, PA

Pros130% commission in the first year and a very comprehensive training program. Can be VERY lucrative. Friendly workplace. Helpful coworkers. Great managers.

Cons100% commission based. Very very very hard to get started as a financial advisor. Tons of time required - consistent 60+ hour work weeks.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe executive management of the company has done the AXA brand an injustice by lack of marketing. Hopefully they do so at some point.

Amazing opportunities, great career, and the sky is the limit

Financial Professional (Current Employee) Brownsville, TX

ProsUnlimited income potential, flexible work hours, company paid travel, and the best part is that your job is essentially to help others and get paid for it.

ConsYou must be willing to work hard, in the beginning you will work 4x as hard for 1x the pay, but after a few years you will be making 4x the pay for 1x the work....and after about 4-5 years the sky really is the limit (You can go into management, start your own team, bring on a mentor, or hire your own assistant and open an office for yourself.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe only advice I can think of for upper management would be to advertise more, more exposure would lead to more satisfied clients, advisors, and the company as a whole.

Great Place to build a business

Financial Advisor (Current Employee) Cleveland, OH

ProsThe opportunities are endless in the company. The local office does a great job with training new associates. The compensation is fair and geared towards those that perform.

ConsLike anything worth while it's hard work. There is a lot to learn but there are many talented senior advisors and managers that mentor.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep investing in the advisors.
