    I worked at AXA Advisors

    Pros

They put a lot of time and effort into you, lots of opportunities for joint work, at least one training per week for new advisors

    Cons

It's sales so if you're not good at that don't bother. There's a 6 month pre-contract period where its' 100% commission based so unless you have a strong support at home you're going to struggle financially. I'm talking weeks without a paycheck or if you finally get one it's like $200. Also, your manager has his team plus his book of business to worry about so unless you're working on a big case it's going to be hard to get them to run appointments with you. And don't think this is a normal 9-5, I was working crazy hours. Like leaving my house at 6 and getting home around 8 or 9.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make your schedule more open so you can run with your team.

I have been working at AXA Advisors

    Pros

If you are ready to work very hard than AXA is a place for you. We have superior training, a team atmosphere, and a friendly working environment. Management gives good direction on how to run your business and there is always someone to turn to in times of need.

    Cons

As with all jobs, it is all about finding the right fit. If you are not ready to work hard, long hours do not join AXA. It is 100% commission which is both a blessing and a curse. If you are not coachable, or do not have a strong work ethic do not apply, however if you do, it is a great place to grow a career.
