I have been working at AXA Advisors full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The more you work, the more potential there is to grow and get compensated. Great flexibility and pay structure. Good training program for new employees (thanks to experienced management team).

    Cons

No major complaints. Just be prepared to work A LOT - but at least it pays off unlike with other jobs where you may work a lot and not see the results.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep doing what you're doing!

I have been working at AXA Advisors full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great team atmosphere with co-workers who become friends. Ability to make great money, challenging and engaging career. It gets easier and easier over time as you build up your clients. Great training too.

    Cons

You must be self motivated, you will be guided and helped with what to do but you need to go out and do it yourself. Getting started can take a lot of time and effort to build up your business but once you do it will be rewarded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the training schedule, set up more times for senior advisors to talk to new ones and give them advice from when they were new.

    Pros

    1. Support from the Management Team 2. Products and Services available to my Clients 3. Professional Development 4. Flexibility 5. Training and Mentoring Program for all new Advisors.

    Cons

    1. This is a challenging career, and you must be willing to work extremely hard. Your early hard work will pay off, though. 2. Depending on the type of practice you want to run, your connections will be invaluable when growing your business. It's tough to relocate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to innovate our technology platforms. The addition of SalesForce and online application processing has been great.

I have been working at AXA Advisors as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

130% commission in the first year and a very comprehensive training program. Can be VERY lucrative. Friendly workplace. Helpful coworkers. Great managers.

    Cons

100% commission based. Very very very hard to get started as a financial advisor. Tons of time required - consistent 60+ hour work weeks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The executive management of the company has done the AXA brand an injustice by lack of marketing. Hopefully they do so at some point.
