    Great high school/ college job

    Sales Associate (Model) (Current Employee)
    Northbrook, IL

Prosdiscount is okay, very flexible hours, nice people, very laid back, easy job, you get to meet a lot of cool people, they work with your schedule.

Consloud music, you have to wear flip flops, can't have bright nail polish, HORRIBLE pay!

Advice to Senior Managementyou should have incentives for the employees to strive to be better. There is nothing that motivates. No raises, no promotions, nothing.

BEST warehouse to work for in Columbus and near areas

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosflexible schedule- three days weekends, good for students like me
Very nice supervisors ( just weekend)
    overtime if you want
Diverse and tolerant workers ( something i like about A & F ) they gave space for prayers to muslim their workers
get rewarded for being hard working every once a while
    Discount for A& f clothes

ConsToo much work during peak season, but you also get big pay check from overtime
you can lose your job for simple mistake like forgetting your badge
Weekday supervisors were very rude and less caring for what they do ( last time i worked there)
You can work for 7 months or more and still not hired but who cares as long as you are getting paid
No Cafeteria open on sundays except few days during holiday season

Advice to Senior ManagementI had little interaction with seniors except my supervisor.
My advice would be to give consideration to students who make large portion of employees. I wouldnt get even one day off during exam finals in december last year ( 2013) .

Floor Model at a Hollister/Abercrombie & Fitch outlet.

    Floor Model (Current Employee)
    Ontario, CA

ProsWorking at an outlet has been an amazing experience for me. It is extremely fast-paced (particularly on the weekends), and requires a larger staff than most full-priced stores. What has made the experience so wonderful me is the team I work with at my store. My managers are young, enthusiastic, and great leaders. It is because of them that the store culture is very positive. I love coming to work every weekend and working with the team. I feel like my work is appreciated and noticed.

ConsNot too many cons in my experience. I've had a problem with spending almost my entire pay check to buy my AAA's, not complaining. Pay is minimum wage, so don't expect a huge pay check every two weeks-- instead, look for an opportunity to learn about customer service, inventory, shrinkage prevention, etc.

Advice to Senior ManagementI notice that a lot of these rude comments have something to do with managers who are not providing a positive culture in their stores. Stay attentive to who is managing the stores and maybe figure out a way to better track employee reviews about their managers.. I've had a great experience at the outlet I work at, and a lot is contributed from the great team of managers at my store.

    General Overview

    Sales Associate (Model) (Current Employee)
    Rochester, NY

ProsThis job is a great way to build social and communication skills. The employees are always friendly and are great people to hang out with off the job.

ConsThe working hours are a little harsh, more hours should be given to employees. In order to move up in occupation, you have to have a 4 year degree with a college. I think this idea has some reasoning, yet, it limits the availability of who can be hired in a given area of the United States.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to design a system that better helps the employees that work for the company.
