    Pros

Learned to work cash register, met lots of multiactural people. Coworkers were really cool, I wouldn't expect them to work there.

    Cons

Managers were terrible. They make you dress a certain way, and tell you not to go up to someone and ask if they need help.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better. Everyone is so disposable at A&F it's pathetic. People wouldn't mind the work of it wasn't so unrewarding.

    Pros

Co-workers were the best part of the experience. Everyone was very easy to get along with. Discount was a benefit

    Cons

Hours were difficult to get. Upper management staff would be very disrespectful sometimes and demanding. Not very much opportunity.

    Pros

    Nice campus and nice cafe.

    Cons

This company lost its way a long time ago. Way too much work and upper management is not in sync.

    Pros

Co workers are good people. They are fun and easy to get along with.
You can make the schedule work for you

    Cons

You will typically be scheduled for 5-10 hours per week. Managers will call you in often and when they see that you are reliable they may schedule you for more hours.

The pay is 7.50 for associates (models and impact). If you are getting called in a lot throughout the week or scheduled for 15+ hours you can make some money if not it feels like you are not working.

Responsibilities. The stores are typically understaffed. If you are impact you will have a lot of work to do. From taking in shipments to prepping and pulling. The tasks are not hard, but there will be a lot for you to do in a little bit of time. If someone slacked off in the shift before you be prepared to have to do their work and yours.

Training is non existent. This applies more to impact staff than models. You get a 10 minute briefing on the general idea of the job and that is about it. You pretty much teach yourself or ask your coworkers for help from there.

    Pros

Great start up coming if you want to stay in retail. Absolutely adored my associates!

    Cons

One of the lowest paying retailers! You are required to have bachelors, yet they only start up paying you $28K, with minimum yearly raises.

    Advice to Management

If you start paying your employees more, you'll have a staff that cares about the brand, and you won't have such a high turnover rate!! This will also save the brand, because the value of their stock keeps decreasing! Happy Employees, more success!

    Pros

Flexible hours and scheduling. You get to work with some interesting team members, and the work lifestyle is very laid back.

    Cons

Management in each store varies, but this particular location during my employment was extremely disorganized. Many of the managers in training only lasted a few weeks before quitting midway through training, while current general managers and store managers fail to properly delegate tasks and responsibilities to their associates.

    Advice to Management

Implement a better 'manager in training' program. Improved pay and benefits for part-time store associates. Also improve the associate hiring and training process.

    Pros

Meet some really great people, make new friends, fun time, easy job, simple.

    Cons

Rude coworkers, form cliques, same thing day in and out, favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees as equals, notice how workers are treating others, pay more attention, don't favor certain employees, maintain responsibility.

    Pros

good discount, chance to grow but would have to relocate, it will probably get way better since jeffries is out.

    Cons

long hours, not enough pay for the time, not much time off, no benefits

    Advice to Management

    nothing to say here

    Pros

Decent first job. Got to meet a lot of great people. One very cool thing is that there is a very flexible schedule and they work with you.

    Cons

The amount of hours they give management to give out to the employees is pretty bad. Very unrealistic expectations from the employees. Terrible hours.

    Advice to Management

Give employees real shifts 2-3 four hour shifts a week isn't enough.
