I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

I love this job!!!!! The people I work with are awesome, the store manager is the same age I am, the salary and benefits are amazing and I never thought that right after graduating I will get such a cool job that pays so well! I am honestly very very happy and I would recommend to anyone that has a BA degree! Another thing is that they promote within and some assistant managers became store managers in only 6-7 months!!! How about that? I am very excited to see what the future holds for me in this job! :)

    Cons

The only thing that bother me is the colone we have to spray, because I am little sensitive to it and it makes me sneeze.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up a good work!!!! I will definitely stay with the company!

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch

    Pros

Night hours allow me free time during the day, to hunt down a second job for the day or take care of errands.

    Cons

For the most part they only hire part time and it is rare to find someone who does full time and inst a manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Allow upward mobility.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good work atmosphere, great training program to prepare for the next management position. Excellent benefits

    Cons

Not enough employees (budget) to handle the amount of customers that come into the store. There are too many tasks expected to be done in an unreasonable amount of time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider the amount of workload and the amount of time it takes to get the job done. There needs to be an increase of budget hours for part time employees to improve the customer service experience.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The job is very easy, and consists of folding clothes all day as well as filling the racks and closets with the max number of items specified by the write up. You will be on register at least once while you work there if not at least once a shift, which can be a good pace changer. I also loved the satisfaction in folding down an entire store or even just a closet.

    Cons

This job is very tedious and can make the thought of quitting enter your mind at least once a day, but if you stay optimistic and become social with the sometimes over dramatic people that also work there you might end up enjoying more than you should.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay the management more or take off the 4 year degree requirement to become a manager. There is no promotions available to those who wouldn't mind staying and moving up, but the only way up is through a 4 year degree and there is no way I'm getting a degree to come back to Abercrombie to be only paid $13 an hour
