    I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great PTO, Great opportunities across the world, flexible hours

    Cons

    Made an office transfer from KC to LA because a project had wanted me to join one of there teams. My salary was only bumped by $2,000. Barely livable coming from KC (which is very cheap) and going to LA (where the COLA and tax and rent are a drastic change)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Salaries need to be reconsidered, I am technically making less than what I was in Kansas City in LA. I have no money to save and am living paycheck to paycheck at 25.

    I worked at Accenture full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Significant resources for project teams and individual growth (e.g. Training). Salary is very competitive, but much is expected for it.

    Cons

    There is a very specific way of doing things that must be followed. It's not that it is bad, but does not leave much room for creativity and innovation despite management messaging to the contrary. It can take seemingly forever to get some of the simplest tasks done if it requires more that two different groups. There are so many different teams each with its own agenda. People want to help, but often need to prioritize their own goals and objectives over the greater good to satisfy performance metrics.

    I have been working at Accenture full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Good work environment
    Good people around with loads of experience
    Learning curve is great
    Promotions are quick if you perform.
    Onsite opportunities

    Cons

    Too many policies
    The management themselves breaches these policies with a new policy
    Low salary

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Making good policies does not ensure that it is being followed everywhere. They must look into much deeped prospect. Also ASE hiring committee must be set up which must remove any bad happening with the ASEs as well. For a company as great all employees should be equal.

    I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good Work Culture, Respect towards employees, Known name in the industry.

    Cons

    Growth could be slow depending on the deployed entity. Benefits could be better structured for inner, experienced folk in the Services space. Technology experience might become redundant as in working on similar things over and over. Work/Life balance could be demanding.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Emphasis on improving technical skills of the people.

    I have been working at Accenture full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    One of the pro is the SAP training that Accenture provide to it SAP Consultant. Accenture tries to have employees functions that help with team building.

    Cons

    The managers don’t visit the client sites and don’t know how to build a relationship with clients. Some of the consultants have very poor customer services with dealing with the client. Accenture managers don’t take direct charge to resolve employees working environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management needs to be more proactive with clients.

    I worked at Accenture full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    -Global brand recognition.
    -Awesome compensation for Consulting workforce
    -Challenging work assignments, you will learn a lot

    Cons

    ///STAFFING///
    -You are hired, BUT you have to job search internally and interview all over again to get on projects!
    -Majority of project staffing is based upon "Who You Know"!
    -HIGH TURNOVER for experienced hires, due to poor integration and staffing opportunities for NEW RECRUITS.

    ///CAREER COUNSELORS///
    -Not sure what's the point of Career Counselors! They don't add any value, except finding you "non-chargeable bench work".

    ///SENIOR MANAGEMENT FEEDBACK///
    -No opportunity to give productive 360 feedback on Team or Engagement Leads.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    ///STAFFING ///
    -Staff projects based upon a resource's SKILLS, INTEREST, and TIME ON BENCH, rather than "Who You Know"!
    -Consider allowing optional SHADOWING. Clients won't mind an extra FREE resource… you would be paying them to sit on the bench anyway, so why not facilitate productivity and a way to cross-train?
