Just hire the same type of people from same feeder schools

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great company. travel. pay. TONS OF PTO. smart people. corporate perks (HH, dinners, events, per diem, etc.). 2 years in, 24 years old, strongly recommend (this must be 20 words by now right...)

    Cons

long hours at times, but with pay hourly is still pretty good if you think about it holistically. travel can get tedious at times, but again, you're compensated and rack up points to use with all that PTO

    Advice to Management

Pay me more money. I probably won't work any harder, but i'll sure be happy to get the raise. Sell more work in places like Hawaii, LA, Cancun, etc. so I can take on projects there

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Option to work from home -5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off)/vacation -International opportunities available -Difficult to get fired

    Cons

-Inefficient tools -Not everyone receives a yearly salary increase -Not every level is eligible for bonuses

    Advice to Management

-Management should engage lower-level employees in discussions before making decisions that impact everyone

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Ability to work in different Accenture offices. Diversity Volunteer, employee resource group and community excellent!

    Cons

You need to be close to directors and senior managers to move up the corporate ladder.

    Advice to Management

Laddering at times are not good. Do not compare same manger level and totally have different work!

I have been working at Accenture as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed working with my team. It was great getting hands on as if an actual employee in Accenture. I also had an opportunity to meet other interns across the country and Canada.

    Cons

Work-life balance can be difficult depending on your supervisor. Interns normally do not have to work overtime and supervisors are directed not to enforce it, but I've seen some interns do it.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work life balance is great, salary is comparable, people are very accommodating in helping you grow and sharing ideas

    Cons

When working for the federal government, budget constraints limit the types of projects you can get sometimes so you have to take the good projects with the bad

I have been working at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are good, sometimes the work can be really boring though. They have been very flexible with time off for health concerns. Good work life balance and sometimes the account will have fun events.

    Cons

They won't let you travel if you are an analyst, which is something I really wanted to do. Federal sucks you in and keeps you there.

    Advice to Management

Let people work from home more often

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work life balance overall. Was able to accrue a lot of PTO in a short amount of time. Really awesome career growth opportunities.

    Cons

Compensation was only partially competitive. Uses laddering system for raises which is counterproductive for collaboration.
