Current Employee – been working at Accruent full-time for more than a year
Pros – I can honestly say that I am NEVER bored at work.
Cons – It is ALWAYS busy! The business model seems to be designed around always giving employees more work than it's possible to complete, therefore providing endless "challenge".
Advice to Senior Management – I agree with one of the earlier reviews and suggest doing 360degree reviews of all managers in the company, as the growth opportunity the company offers is also followed by many first-time managers, and this transition must be managed closely or you may lose very good individual contributors to poor management coaching.

Current Employee – been working at Accruent full-time for less than a year
Pros – Although I've only been with the company four months, I continue to be impressed with their leadership, training, communication and commitment to their values. Many companies will develop a great strategic plan and vision, but will execute very poorly or not at all. After 23 years of work experience, I have seen the whole spectrum of organizations. Accruent stands at one of the very best, in terms of sticking to its values and executing on strategy. It has weathered the recession, re-organized, re-tooled and is in that process of going from Good to Great!
Cons – There's always the risk of becoming too corporate, too process driven and too set in particular skillsets where you have to depend on one or two employees to get something done. The company should continue to be agile, innovative and open to new, creative ideas from employees or customers, as well as, developing a commonality and modularity across its product platform. There are also many young employees straight out of college, which can be good but..there should be in addition to training and continued education, a mentoring program aside from the current supervisor structure.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the good leadership.

Current Employee – been working at Accruent full-time for less than a year
Pros – The upper leadership puts a lot of emphasis on planning and then communicating those plans to the employees, which is a great way to keep the employees in alignment with company goals. Because of this, Accruent is growing a lot right now - both organically and through acquisitions. The vision and direction of the company seem solid.
Cons – Could do a better job of letting the employees share in the success of the company. There are yearly bonuses, but maybe adding a structured profit-sharing plan or matching 401k would also help employee buy-in.
Advice to Senior Management – Thanks for spending so much time planning and communicating, and please keep it up.

Current Employee – been working at Accruent full-time for less than a year
Pros – Friendly co-workers, nice office space, clearly defined career paths, small company vibe, good benefits, flexible work hours, opportunities for advancement, company is established and growing rapidly.
Cons – No 401K match, no educational reimbursement, low starting pay, loooong training period (several weeks) means you're not producing much for the first couple of months.
Advice to Senior Management – Let people work from home 1 or more days per week. Company is growing fast and you'll need less office space.

Current Employee – been working at Accruent
Pros – Its a company that promotes a positive work environment. The workplace is a mix of youthful energy and experience. I believe the company as a whole is going in a positive direction as they invest in talent and reward those that perform.
Cons – Sometimes change happens slower than one might like. Also not sure why someone might not care for the "world class" theme. I guess it could sound somewhat corny, but the the intention does seem sincere.
Advice to Senior Management – Keeping everyone informed of the direction is key.

Former Employee – worked at Accruent
Pros – It's a good small company to work for. If you work hard they will treat you with respect.
Cons – some management doesn't know the business too well, so they are unable to hold people accountable until it's too late.
Advice to Senior Management – Leadership must demonstrate honesty, even if you have to deliver the bad news.

Current Employee – been working at Accruent full-time for more than a year
Pros – Accruent has a great work environment for people who just graduated from college or have very limited work experience. The culture here is great due to the large population of recent graduates. It's very easy to approach anyone, even executives. Accruent is results oriented - if you work hard, you will definitely be rewarded. You will also get a roadmap of your career while you are here. How fast you go through the roadmap is completely up to you and your work ethics.
Cons – The salary range is a bit low starting off but there is a lot of room for growth and experience.

Great People
Growing Company
Our company was acquired by Accruent this year. Overall good experience. Initially challenging adapting to all the change, etc. but post transition, it has been positive. Have been treated very well and provided infastructure and growth opportunites not available previously. If you're willing to work hard and align with company vision, you will be successful.
Cons – Resources can be tight - but agressively hiring to solve
