I have been working at Ace Hardware full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great Benefits, Great Compensation,

    Cons

Absolutely no communication between Management team, no training, very click type office culture, false values certainly do not practice what they preach,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None, the corporation will do what they want and there is no changing it, they are stuck in an old and non-progressive culture. Don't expect changes, only make changes for yourself which means move on to a more progressive and organized company.

I worked at Ace Hardware full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

This is a growing company. In an industry that is generally consolidating Ace is leading the way with the best programs and cost of goods in the convenience hardware business.

    Cons

Growth can be tough if the company lags behind in dedicating resources to support it. That is what is happening at Ace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More store planners. Managers need to proactively seek problem areas and aggressively solve them rather than give lip service to it.
