    Pros

    Collaboration and employee success are at the heart of the company and high on management's priority. Employee and customer happiness is very important to Achievers

    Cons

    High management turnover is causing uncertainty and loss of valuable team members. This brings anxiety but also opportunity to the organization

    Stability and focus are necessary to bring the MOJO back to the team!

    Pros

    Amazing culture with amazing people.

    Cons

    Horrible salary, no improvement potential for hires coming out of university, hierarchical organization with a lot of income inequality.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There needs to be a structure in place for pay raises, and more transparency in regards to income for the departments. They are paid horribly, are rarely given opportunities for advancement and these departments barely stay engaged with the company. This causes quick turnover rate for their positions and low scores/ratings for this department. For being an HR software company that promotes employee engagement, it should be noted that salary and compensation is also very important when it comes to employee engagement and work ethic.

    Pros

    People are friendly, office locations are amazing, the market is in the middle of being disrupted. The board is also packed with experience.

    Cons

    Below avg salaries, mediocre perks, everybody thinks they are the best and brightest which is a bi-product of the recognition space we are in.

    Raise the talent bar and decide on being a software company or not.

    I worked at Achievers

    Pros

    The culture is amazing. You get to work on different projects across different departments. The people are super fun, friendly, and hard working. If you're right out of school, the culture is perfect. If you're more professional, not so much. Having an MBA doesn't matter here.

    Cons

    The CEO has his hands in a lot or almost all initiatives. There have been cases where employees have been fired for challenging the CEO. The salary levels were brutal. The amount of hours put in were brutal. Some promotions felt very arbitrary. Extremely high expectations from senior management without any form of reciprocity. Decisions made too quickly without thinking about the long run. Turnover is high. Little loyalty to employees. Always looking for the next best thing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Put trust in the people you hire. Hire people with experience and pay them for what they are worth. Sometimes there's something to be said about traditional approaches that work. Grow a small team and keep them on board! Practice what you preach.
