Solid Company

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Activision Blizzard

ProsAB is a company that treats it's employees well and, all things considered, is a good place to work. The people are very accomplished and get the job done. Fast paced with lots of work.

ConsVery corporate culture for a video game company. On-boarding consists of being "thrown into the deep end" right off the bat (could be a pro if you are the type of person who likes to figure thing out for yourself).

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Collaborative work environment in a fun category

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Activision Blizzard

ProsPeople I worked with were great - solid team dynamics and good information sharing across your peers. Exciting, ever-changing category to work in.

ConsSenior management has too much of their hands in the development at times. I found us debating too much fine detail of the games in our senior management reviews, rather than keeping things at a strategic level.

Every boy`s dream job

QA Tester (Former Employee)
Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)

I worked at Activision Blizzard as a contractor for less than a year

ProsThe work environment is super easy-going and really flexible. It was fun and convenient to get the job done with the support of the team and the supervisor. Even though I was a female working there, I had a great time working there.

ConsMost of the jobs in Activision are not permanent. It means, there are just seasonal short contracts. It puts you off a little if you wanna pursue a career in the gaming industry.
