I worked at Acxiom Digital full-time for more than a year
Pros – Good company and operational structure. They may change processes often but at least they keep you up to date on how and when those changes will take place.
Average compensation.
Cons – Day to day can become boring.
Working in an environment where coworkers or seniors are there to take you down - not conducive to productivity.
Growth internally is either non-existant or at snail rate.
Advice to Senior Management – The "buddy buddy" relationships you have with employees that have been there longer than most should not reflect your management decisions.
If there is an issue, consult every party involved before making any decision.

I have been working at Acxiom Digital full-time for less than a year
Pros – -Free cereal, bagels, soda, coffee, food and beer socials (sometimes)
-Casual work environment
-Ping pong, tv, pool table, nintendo
-Lots of paid time off
-Can work from home sometimes
-Gym facilities
-Sometimes there's no work (for some people) and managers are aware of it. So you can watch TV, play pool, shoot nerf darts at each other and they'll play with you.
Cons – -Work is not distributed evenly. Some people have too much work and others have none.
-Late nights. There are many instances of employees having to work until 11pm.
-Low to no pay raises
-Yearly reviews are in June for everyone that starts before January of that year. If you start after January 1, you have to wait until the following June.
-I got a $50 gift card as a Christmas bonus.
-High turnover rate.
-There's so much work and little backup, you feel like you can't take time off
-Lots of useless meetings.
-They push updates to their CMS in the middle of the day
Advice to Senior Management – Give raises to the people that deserve it

Pros – This is my first job and it's a great experience. Everyone is young and really fun to be around and the work environment is very cool and casual.
- The kitchen is always stocked with orange juice and milk.
- People work from home a lot. My friend was able to work half way across the country for weeks to be near her friend. I think as long as she did her work no one seemed to care.
- There is always a ton of free cereal.
- Management really listen.
- People come in late as long as work is done it seems okay. Lateness isn't so frowned here, people known for coming in after 10am are promoted as long as they do a good job and are friends with the right people. Be friendly and stop hiding in your desks people!
Cons – It's good for entry level but maybe not much else. I'm a little embarrassed to tell people I work with e-mail. I hope the experience here will help me land a better job doing what I really want but I don't know how to express all I do is e-mail.
Advice to Senior Management – None. They are doing a good job as much as I can see.

I worked at Acxiom Digital
Pros – - Able to learn a lot within first year
- Gain valuable corporate experience and exposure to high end clients
Cons – - Career development was stagnant with too many levels before getting a promotion and raise
- Work get boring or redundant after first 6 months to a year
Advice to Senior Management – I don't think management is at fault but just the overall career development structure needs to be looked at and reviewed.

Pros – Opportunities to learn, especially if you are a self-starter. Great for learning how to work with people, in teams, with technology. If you are good, you'll get more opportunities there and more chances to learn more.
Cons – People are complacent. It's not a place to stay at unless it meets your needs for a job, okay compensation and whatever else you need in a job. Not a place for the driven, very intelligent and highly motivated except as a starting place.
Advice to Senior Management – Historically the managment is weak. Don't understand the meaning of leadership. Newer staff members might be better.

Pros – Nice office building in San Mateo. Leader in email marketing. Employees are smart, good people to work with.
Cons – Work hard for little recongnition. There's too much of an Asian brotherhood, needs to be more diverse and I'm Asian.
Advice to Senior Management – Upgrade the legacy technology. Acknowledge your hardworking staff. Figure out a way to have account teams to collaborate more.

I worked at Acxiom Digital
Pros – Free bagels, soda and coffee.
People are generally nice to each other.
Lots of PDO time.
You get to work with a lot of fortune 500 clients that you can put on your resume.
Casual work environment.
Lower management is good to work with and receptive to feedback.
Cons – The content specialist position is called "entry level" but has no career path and does not give you any meaningful skills with which to advance your career. The level promotions that you can get (level 1 2 and 3) are basically meaningless except for a modest pay raise and have no value outside the company.
The senior management seems to be in a cost-cutting and outsourcing mode. They laid off all of the developers in California and moved that dept. to Asia. They also cut some in New York. Who knows if they will cut campaign services? I think Acxiom Digital is being squeezed by Acxiom the parent company, and there will be continued pressure to cut costs at the expense of the employees.
If you give your notice that you are resigning no matter how far in advance you lose ALL of your PDO time and are not compensated for it. So if you work here, take all your vacation time before you quit.
Acxiom is #12 on the list of worst places to work in America on glassdoor.com.
Do not work here for more than two years unless they offer you a real promotion.
Advice to Senior Management – Real technology companies value their employees and talent. If you cut pay, benefits and outsource the better jobs, you send the message that your employees are not valued.

I have been working at Acxiom Digital
Pros – Relaxed atmosphere to work in. You can dress casual & listen to music while you work. The people you work directly with are amazing. The supervisors you report directly to, care about you & try to help you anyway they can. If it's your first job out of college, then it's decent.
Cons – The pay is lower than its competitors. Not that much in reimbursement towards furthering your education. The higher ups in the company, CEOs, seem out of touch with the workers. good place to start, but move on if you get a great opportunity.
Advice to Senior Management – In stand of worrying about expanding, try focusing on retaining good workers.

I worked at Acxiom Digital
Pros – Free breakfast/fruit. Some people you work with are really good to work with. Work on email campaigns for large companies with good brand recognition. I was able to leave and almost double my salary based on this. You can do it too.
Cons – Long hours, extremely low pay, management does not care about employee churn rate, promotions don't happen as they should, upper management gets bonuses based on account performance and based off of the work of those under them...while raises are non existant and base salaries get lowered. Incompetence and general disregard by upper management.
Advice to Senior Management – Replace yourselves unless you can lead with integrity. Spread the wealth.

I have been working at Acxiom Digital
Pros – 1. For entry-level positions, pay and benefits package is decent.
2. Generous in terms of paid vacation/sick days.
3. Exposure to high-profile clients.
4. Relaxed dress code.
5. Relaxed office environment in general.
6. Pleasant co-workers (for the most part).
7. Free Bagels on Wednesdays.
8. Free soda, milk, cereal, oatmeal, licorice, and pretzels (a certain warehouse club chain is across the street).
9. Building is within walking distance of many places to eat.
10. Neighborhood/location is very nice.
Cons – 1. High turnover rates.
2. Can be extremely stressful at times.
3. Long hours for some.
4. Pay does not increase (i.e., entry-level wages even after you've been promoted).
5. Can be difficult to take vacation if you work on a demanding/complex account.
6. Difficult to move up.
7. Opportunity to learn new skills extremely limited.
8. Inefficient and unsightly platform.
9. No clear vision of where the company is heading.
10. Lack of maturity in some departments.
Advice to Senior Management – Work on employee retention! At the very least, try to show some concern over high turnover rates (the "there's more where that came from" vibe in the air when someone leaves doesn't really help with morale). Ask yourselves, why are the talented leaving to go work someplace else? Think about professional sports teams that win championships and how they treat their stars and foster good team chemistry. How can you expect to win when the makeup of your team is in a constant state of flux?
