    Pros

controlled environment and a very clean place to work a fast pace job when everything is working correctly. We got paid weekly that was a plus

    Cons

When the machines wasn't working right it would be a lot of down time and the temps. would be the first to go home and it was temporary position things subject to change at any time.

    Pros

It was great knowing I was working, I enjoyed going to work where they placed me. If they were to call me I would work for them again.

    Cons

You do not know when your last day is until about 15 minutes before your shift is over, it would be better if they gave you at least a weeks notice so you can find something else

    Advice to Management

If you gave us more notice to our last day or if you had another position lined up it would make transitions better for everyone involved

    I worked at Adecco

    Pros

Paychecks were always on time. Friendly Human Resources personnel. Seemed to have many resources and business relationships.

    Cons

Too many layers of management. Did not follow through with help finding me further employment after existing contract was expiring. Left me swinging in the wind.

    Advice to Management

Cut down on the layers of management and encourage recruiters to be proactive helping existing contractors find work to continue with when contracts are expiring.

    Pros

This is a staffing agency, which can give you great potential to earn a paycheck while looking for a real job.

    Cons

Don't expect them to care about you as a person...you are a number on a roster, that is it. They really could care less how long you stay with the company; they just need bodies to fill slots every day.

    Advice to Management

Try making your employees feel like they mean something in the big picture. Nobody wants to feel like a number, hence why that is used as a punishment in prisons.

    Pros

I worked with a lot of great people. We had a team of great recruiters. My direct boss was okay. However, her boss and the higher ups did not genuinely care about their employees.

    Cons

Started as a temp to hire position. I was one of the top performers on the team and even met with several executives high up in the company to show them the ins and outs of our division. However, I was not converted to a permanent employee which meant no benefits, PTO or any good perks that came along with it.

    Advice to Management

Considering they came in and shut down our successful division (I left about a month prior to that on my own). My best advise would be following through on what you say. Communicating effectively with teams would be nice as well. Everything was behind closed doors. One day from my understanding a group of vans showed up outside with all execs and shut the place down. Hundreds of layoffs at one time. No communication at all.

    Pros

The hours for this position are very good and are Monday-Friday. The pay is not too bad for this type of work.

    Cons

The job can be stressful and strenuous on your body. They change your departments as soon as you get used to the one that you are in.

    Advice to Management

    More days off for temps.

    Pros

Adecco is full of clock watchers, so the pros are "No Overtime work"

    Cons

Lack of career growth and poor compensation.

Once pay is reasonable and fair, other things become important: recognition, respect, challenging work, opportunities for development… the feeling that a job is more than just a job.

    Advice to Management

See cons above, management skips over "providing a fair reasonable pay" and is willing to give recognition if it doesn't cost Adecco any money.
